“If we can be humans, we can be anywhere” — Reda

Yesterday while I was having dinner with a friend we talked about how religion, culture and prejudices can set us apart.

For my dear friend, freedom is the most important feeling.

One must feel free to think, to feel and to express. Only then, we can be free to accept others by who they are. And once we get to that stage, where we can listen, comprehend, and sense others by what they are, then we can be everywhere, and we will always feel home.

In my long, short life I have met many human beings who just like me are seeking to find their truth.

People who have been through experiences that gave them clarity about who they are.

They carry a level of wisdom that aren’t always recognize.

They aren’t your typical gurus;

They don’t want to teach you anything;

They don’t seek attention;

They don’t to be seen as someone they are not.

We often engage in deep conversations and from them I often take new insights.

And thanks to them, I keep evolving every day.

This column is a recognition to the human beings who in their simple and natural life share some of their stories, insights, and knowledge.
